    Product Information

Though we get asked frequently if it's okay to share the jerky, these treats are for your dog and for you to enjoy the love of adventure together. You won't grow a tail, but please don't eat your dog's snacks!

Wild Ranger works with a team of mindfully selected animal nutritionists, manufacturing partners, and regulatory experts in creating and producing our treat line. Dr. Randy Johnson has 40 years of industry and academic experience as a consultant to the pet food industry and is a registered professional animal scientist and diplomate in the American College of Animal Nutrition.

Yes, we're dog people focused on the love of our pets and the commitemnt to protect our environment. The Ranger name better fit our goals of protecting wild lands and our dogs with the best ingredients and social causes we stand behind like the Conervation Alliance and Upcycled Food Alliance. Our packaging has always featured a Ranger on the nose of a dog showing the bond we all share between dogs and our wild outdoors adventures.

Not in this part of nature! Wild Ranger is aware that some dogs have allergies and have formulated our treats to be free of wheat, corn, soy. We pack our treats with real superfood nutrition and functional ingredients high in protein.

No way will you find that in our bags! We use real meat and natural ingredients. Our products do contain a small amount of natural antioxidants of mixed tocopherols (Vitamin E) for functional boosts and to help keep the treats fresh. We use natural ingredients to keep our jerky treats soft, sweet, pliable, and also durable for the trails.

The majority of our ingredients are sourced in the USA where all our treats are manufactured. We wanted to include real superfoods that you would find out in nature. We sometimes source important ingredients from other locations but never from China. All ingredients are rigorously tested for our supplier’s compliance with our quality standards of premium ingredients. All ingredients meet AFFCO standards.

We spent almost a year vetting different USA suppliers and manufacturers who could produce a premium product and held the same values and love for dogs as we do. Our manufacturing is done in the USA at partners with over 50 years of experience in a SFQ Level 2 facility, upheld to the highest safety and cleanliness. There has never been a recall of Wild Nature products or with any of our supplier's ingredients.

Wild Ranger treats typically have a shelf life of 18 months from manufacturing date unopened when properly stored in a cool, dry location. Once a bag is opened it should be properly resealed using the ziplock top and stored in a cool, dry location to keep fresh. Treats should be good for up to 30 days after opened but your dog may have convinced you with tricks to eat well before then.
